UKNetworker Roundtable Event
Every month on a Thursday at 11am online.
It’s a space for you to engage with small, intimate groups of people for the sake of quality, unrushed and natural networking.
No pitching, and no agenda beyond honest business talk. It’s where the network becomes a shared experience – complementing the tools and advantages of the UKNetworker platform for Full Members, or where Visiting Members and Guests can start and build upon quality relationships.

Details
- Taking place online via Microsoft Teams.
- Attendees are grouped into Tables (breakout rooms) for the whole session.
- Maximum of six chairs per Table. Six properly chosen people, with an hour of actual conversation, can produce more useful relationship capital than sixty people you exchange thirty-second introductions with and forget by lunchtime.
- A relaxed space for business chat and peer support. No pitching. No pressure.
- As things grow, the format helps make sure you won't see the same faces every time.
- The chance to begin or deepen relationships with members and guests.
- Potential introductions, opportunities and support beyond the event for Full Members.
Relaxed and Lightly Structured Agenda
- When you arrive you go straight to your assigned Table.
- Quick, natural (not timed) intros are made at your Table to get things started.
- A Table can optionally use the current month’s suggested ‘Opening Question’ to get the ball rolling.
- The session itself: Natural, business related conversation among peers. Kept on track by the simple Roundtable Rules that attendees agree to: Avoid tangents and lengthy small talk, ensure equal airtime for everyone, and no pitching.
- Closing the session: An alert will show at about 11:55 to remind you the session is ending soon, to give you chance to wrap up by 12:00.
Know Exactly Who is Attending
When you register, you have access to the Roster Pages where you can view who is going to be attending the next event, and which Table they’ll be sitting at.
The roster gives you attendees’ names, positions, business names, industry, and any introduction paragraph they’ve provided at registration.
Seating arrangements are made to try and make sure different or complementary industries are represented at each Table, but there are no rules about this, and you are welcome to ask about being put on a certain Table.

Full Members
Full members have the Roundtable sessions as a part of the overall ecosystem of UKNetworker. A shared, live experience of being part of the network together, beyond one-to-one interactions through the platform, the advanced members directory/profiles, messaging/chat system, personal support, and resources – all working together.
Visiting Members
Visiting members are here purely for the Roundtable events. With no pressure to upgrade to Full Membership. £14.99/month means they can attend events and also receive the monthly email publication as a valued member of the network.
Guests
Guests are welcome to join a session for free, to see if the event is the right kind of thing for them.
