A New Opportunity for Connecting – Inside the Featured Members Directory

UKNetworker’s Featured Members directory is more than a fresh coat of paint. It’s a real shift in how professionals find each other, start conversations, and build something that actually matters.

A Change for the Better

The old members list did its job, but only just. Most people never got past a wall of blank profiles, and it was easy for real connections to get lost in the noise. The new Featured Members directory changes all of that. Only members who’ve added a proper photo and shared their details now appear. That’s why the list is smaller, but it’s also why every profile on the page is someone you might actually want to meet.

There are now over 170 professionals registered on UKNetworker at the time of writing. As the platform gathers momentum and more members update their profiles, the Featured list will keep growing. For now, you’ll only see the people who are ready to connect. No ghosts, no empty placeholders, just real professionals open to new conversations.

This isn’t about likes and followers and vanity metrics – it’s about locating and connecting directly, with people.

Smarter Search, Sharper Profiles

At the heart of the new directory is a powerful set of filters. You can now search not just by industry or location etc, but by the exact kind of connection you’re looking for: collaborators, investors, event organisers, speakers for specific kinds of event, or other business relationships. It’s designed for active, purposeful networking, not just scrolling through names for the sake of it.

Profiles themselves are sharper, clearer, and easier to scan. Every member can showcase what matters: not only their expertise and contact details, but also specific offers, resources, and links. There’s even space for a video and a mini gallery, for those who want to bring their profile to life.

Messaging: Built for Real Conversation

The new messaging system is as quick and flexible as any popular app. Members can send direct messages, live chat, join group conversations, or jump into video and audio calls… All with a couple of clicks. Safety tools like mute and block are built in, and you can access your conversations easily from any page.

Growing Together

Featured Members is not just a directory, it’s a starting point. As word spreads and more members take the time to update their profiles, the range of connections will grow. UKNetworker isn’t about amassing followers or performing for a public feed. It’s about practical, direct connections with people who are here for the same reasons you are: to meet, to collaborate, and to grow something real.
