About This Event
The Roundtable session is currently planned to take place on a weekly basis at the same time on Wednesdays.
It exists to give members a form of connection the directory and messaging cannot provide on their own: a shared, live experience of being part of the network together, beyond one-to-one interactions. They’re also where members should naturally discover who else is worth following up with afterwards, closing the loop back into the directory and direct messaging.
Members may bring one guest to a session – with a one-time free slot. Or guests can register of their own accord.
Room Details
- This is an online event, taking place via Microsoft Teams.
- There’s a maximum of eight chairs available for members and guests, excluding the host. At the moment, this can mean from as little as two people to a full room.
Agenda
- A brief welcome – and conversation starter by the host if nobody has an initial topic they’d like to discuss.
- The session itself: Natural, business related conversation among peers. Kept on track by the host – avoiding tangents, lengthy small talk, and helping to ensure equal airtime for everyone, and introducing a new conversation direction if required.
- Brief wrap-up and closing, possibly with an agreed starting topic for next week.
What to Expect
- A relaxed space for business chat and peer support. No pitching. No pressure.
- The chance to begin or deepen relationships with members and guests.
- Potential introductions, opportunities and support beyond the event.
- Your input helping to shape the future of the event.
Members are able to learn about each other and what they do through the members directory before the event, but whether you’re a member or a guest, a roster of who is attending and what they do is available before the event takes place.
