The Fellowship Review – April 2026

Membership

Six Initiator members. The founding layer, and the first people in the room.

Platform and Feature Updates

The Events Portal closed in the last week of April. There’s a full post about it in the Inner Room if you want the history, but the short version is that it had been on borrowed time for a while and – along with new technical difficulties arising as well, and considering ideas for the direction of the Inner Room as things develop – closing it was the right call.

Events can be shared in the Inner Room, and there’s a dedicated section for it now, and the Monthly Members Meetup details will live there.

April Members Meetup

The first meetup took place in April – Adam Jackson, Jo Higgins-Cezza, and Paul Green in attendance. Informal, no agenda beyond getting to know each other and talking about the fellowship. The right shape for a first one.

Connections are already starting to form between attendees. Where those go is theirs to find out!

Something that came up was how to talk about the fellowship when you’re out and about and someone asks, or when you want to introduce someone to it. The video at uknetworker.co.uk/inside is a direct response to that. Worth saving a link to it, watching and keeping to hand. It helps you to know what to say about the club if it comes up in your journeys, and because it’s in a vertical format it’s also possible to just show it to someone on your phone.

The next meetup is 19th May. Details in the Inner Room.

Stewardship Notes

Member interviews are in preparation – a professional conversation, properly edited, delivered to you as something you can actually use. More detail coming soon.

Next Month

Member interviews will start being booked in May.

Closing the Events Portal

The Events Portal was the original heart of this business, predating the Fellowship itself. After years of development, rebuilding, and no small number of technical headaches, closing it was the right decision. Here’s the history behind it, what replaced it, and why the Fellowship is better for the change.
